Opportunity:
Flatlands Real Estate Team is offering an opportunity for students interested in a career in Real Estate via an internship program. The program is a part time position where the successful candidate will gain exposure to many areas of Commercial, Residential, & Farm Real Estate.
You will be able to learn the real estate business in an atmosphere of success & supportive environment while developing real estate specific skills, training, & first-hand industry knowledge. This position is intended to groom the successful candidate for a future full-time role within the company.
Ideal candidates will already be enrolled in the PHASE 1 or PHASE 2 real estate licensing education for Sask or an equivalent licensing program.
Internship Responsibilities:
You will work under the supervision of an experienced real estate professional within the company and provide administrative assistance, marketing support, as well as manage office tasks such as:
- Admin duties and research projects as directed
- Customer service & answering/responding to general inquiries
- Maintaining client files as per office policy & regulatory guidelines.
- Executing marketing projects: press releases, event coordination, listing photography, print/brochure design, etc.
- Managing communication via website, social media & newsletters
- Client database maintenance
- Offsite work may be required such as organizing client events, open houses (setting up, not hosting), community service efforts, or purchasing supplies
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Valid drivers license & reliable transportation
- Background screening which may include driving, credit, and criminal history
- Authorization to legally work in Canada
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
- Knowledge or interest in the Real Estate industry or serving the public
- Excellent grammar & communication skills
- Work approx. 10 to 20 hours per week as scheduled, some occasional evenings & weekends may be required for special events.
- Will consider candidates who are not currently enrolled in a real estate licensing program but are interested in obtaining another specialization within the field.
