City of Regina Has A New Plan Now In Effect – Laneway & Garden Suites Pilot Project!
Recently the City of Regina City Council has approved the Laneway & Garden Suites Guidelines. As a result this means that they will be starting a pilot project to test the new guidelines within the context of the City’s already existing neighbourhoods.
This news is especially relevant to home owners in the city who have been dreaming of earning some extra income from their property or those looking to house extra family members (e.g. granny suite, guest house, or in-law suite). The pilot project will begin testing these types of suites to be built on residential lots in different types of neighbourhoods across the city. Test sites will be selected based on a public invitation and request for proposal process.
